The 80-member Bangsamoro Parliament elected Abdulraof Macacua as the new Chief Minister of the First Regular Bangsamoro Government, securing 51 votes during its inaugural session at the Parliament Plenary Hall in Cotabato City on Friday, October30, 2026.
Macacua defeated former interim Chief Minister and MILF Chairman Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim, who received 27 votes.
