Cotabato, Province — In support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s commitment to bringing government assistance closer to communities, a total of ₱19 million in community grants was directly received by beneficiaries from Alamada and Banisilan, Cotabato, during the Handog ng Pangulo celebration led by the DSWD Field Office XII through KALAHI-CIDSS.
Each municipality received ₱9.5 million for community-prioritized projects identified through the Community-Driven Development (CDD) approach.
In Alamada, the grant will support 11 projects focused on agricultural processing, livelihood, farm machinery, disaster preparedness, and community facilities. In Banisilan, five projects will improve barangay roads, slope protection, education facilities, and child development services.
The direct awarding underscores the commitment of Handog ng Pangulo to bring government assistance closer to the people, empowering communities to turn their priorities into concrete projects that improve livelihoods, accessibility, safety, and essential services.
Through KALAHI-CIDSS, Handog ng Pangulo turns community priorities into meaningful action—para sa mas matatag, mas ligtas, at mas maunlad na pamayanan.
